1500 trade visitors from 56 countries attended CB Expo in Zurich
The 2nd edition of the international Cannabis Business Expo and Conference ‘CB Expo’ took place on September 10 and 11, 2022 at StageOne in Zurich.
1530 visitors from 56 countries attended the trade fair, visiting the 60 stands and listening to talks by over 70 speakers at the six panel discussions, twelve education presentations and eight sessions by the INCBA (International Cannabis Bar Association).
The core topics of CB Expo 2022 were the new Swiss legislation governing the use of cannabis in medicine, the challenges facing the international CBD market and the upcoming regulation of cannabis for recreational use around the globe, focusing in particular on Germany and Switzerland.
The organizers – the CB Company LLC – have given a positive verdict on the event and are viewing (political) developments concerning the worldwide regulation of cannabis with cautious optimism. Ben Arn, CEO of the CB Company LLC, said in his opening speech that the time is right and that the political world as well as the (cannabis) industry needs to show professionalism and quality so that the road to legislation is more promising than the failed prohibition which has dominated the last few decades.
